MALDIVES: BAREFOOT LUXURY
The Maldives emerges from the Indian Ocean like a string of jewels, where each private island resort creates its own definition of paradise. Here, luxury reaches new heights with overwater villas featuring glass floors, underwater restaurants offering marine views, and seaplane transfers providing bird’s-eye perspectives of nature’s artistry. The archipelago’s rich marine life makes every snorkelling session or dive an adventure, while its world-renowned spas and pristine beaches offer perfect relaxation. From bioluminescent beaches that glow at night to sandbanks that appear like mirages at low tide, the Maldives delights with experiences that seem too beautiful to be real. This is where barefoot luxury meets marine wonder, creating memories that last long after the final sunset.
STORIES OF THE MALDIVES
Where time slows down to the rhythm of gentle waves, and every villa is a front-row seat to nature’s greatest show.

SWIMMING WITH THE ANCIENT MARINERS
The Maldives offers some of the world’s most enchanting turtle encounters, where five different species of sea turtles glide through crystal-clear waters, including the beloved green turtles and hawksbill turtles. Marine biologists at various resorts lead conservation programs where guests can learn about turtle protection, visit rehabilitation centres, and even ‘adopt’ injured turtles being nursed back to health.
A SEA OF STARS
In the Maldives, nature performs one of its most magical shows as beaches transform into a sea of stars, where microscopic plankton called dinoflagellates create an ethereal blue glow along shorelines. The most famous location is Vaadhoo Island in Raa Atoll, where the ‘Sea of Stars’ phenomenon illuminates waves in brilliant blue hues, creating an otherworldly experience as visitors walk along the shore. This natural light show is best witnessed between April and November, with peak displays occurring during September and October.
